Wearing the jacket does not cause any difficulty, as the panel placed in the jacket's lining is very lightweight and highly flexible. To an outside observer, the jacket gives the impression of a completely average MA-1, yet it offers immense protection to its wearer.

The company dealing with the modification is working to make the model as comfortable and safe as possible so that there is no noticeable difference at all between a normal and a modified jacket. The price is currently quite steep at $5,000, which is why truly not everyone can afford to purchase such an MA-1 jacket.
