The Polar Jacket designed by Alpha performs perfectly even in adverse weather conditions. The heaviest snowfall and eternal ice are no obstacle for the jacket in keeping its wearer warm. Arctic tests have clearly proved that it stands its ground completely even at minus 50 degrees.

The outer material of the jacket is Oxford Nylon, a fabric made from special polyamide fibers. Over the last twenty years, the textile industry has faced increasingly greater challenges in developing materials, so enhancing water resistance also came into focus. Alongside effective water resistance, durability also emerged as a key consideration, and that is how Oxford Nylon was created. In terms of flammability, it falls far behind polyester-type materials, making it safe to use even next to an outdoor fire lit in cold weather. On the inside of the model, there is a fabric woven from synthetic fibers made with 100% DuPont technology, which is of top quality and has excellent breathability.

In the case of the base model (Polar Jacket), the jacket features a huge hood whose entire inner surface is lined with warm faux fur. This soft-to-the-touch material hugs our head so much that we won't even want to take the hood off, it is so warm and comfortable. Additionally, the designers ran a much longer-pile fur all along the edge of the hood, held by small buttons so it can be detached at any time. By the way, this is a very useful accessory in windy weather because it protects our face well from icy gusts.

The elongated cut of the jacket reaches down to the upper thighs—a three-quarter length—thus keeping our body warm. There is a practical drawstring at the waist, allowing us to tightly seal off the escape route for warmth. For those who care less for long jackets, the designers created the Polar Jacket SV model. Even though it only reaches the waist, this jacket possesses the same excellent heat-retaining and water-resistant properties as the coat.

Wind protection is further aided by the zipper flap running all the way down the front of the jackets, fastened with large, color-matched buttons. The streamlined appearance is complemented by a practical feature: the huge, L-shaped opening map pocket located on the left side of the jacket. Here we can store important documents or even an A4-sized tablet. Another option for storage or keeping our hands warm is the two equally massive pockets at the front of the jacket, as well as the slanted smaller chest pockets, which, thanks to their design, allow us to comfortably hide our hands from the cold.

Finally, we must not forget to mention that there is a patch on each sleeve of the jacket, along with the iconic Remove before flight ribbon. By the way, those who prefer an absolutely neutral look can also choose a patch-free model.

A true feeling of luxury is reserved for us by the Polar Jacket Down RF, as it features a hood lined with real fur, covering our head with silk-like softness in cold weather. Another striking difference from the base model is the color variation between the jacket's outer and inner materials. In addition, the color shade of the patches and ribbon almost completely blends into the base color of the jacket.

No matter how you decide, choosing any Polar Jacket model will be a good decision, because you couldn't find a warmer jacket even if you searched for one. In our webshop, you can choose a suitable jacket in several colors and sizes for defense against the upcoming freezing cold.
